Taylor Swift Reveals Exclusive Bonus Track on Tangerine ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ Vinyl

Taylor Swift has announced that an exclusive bonus track will be available on the tangerine edition of the vinyl for her upcoming album, 1989 (Taylor's Version). The album is set to be released on October 27, 2023.

The tangerine edition vinyl and three Deluxe Poster Edition CDs with unique photos inside will be available for purchase only at Target.

The title of the bonus track has not yet been revealed, but fans are already speculating about what it might be. Some believe that it could be a previously unreleased song from the 1989 era, while others think that it could be a new song that Swift wrote specifically for the album.

The release of the tangerine edition vinyl comes just a few weeks after Swift announced a number of other non-Target exclusive vinyl editions of the album, including aquamarine green and yellow “Sunrise Boulevard” versions.

Swift's re-recording of her albums comes after she was unable to reach an agreement with her former record label, Big Machine Label Group, to purchase the masters of her music. In 2019, Big Machine was acquired by Scooter Braun, whom Swift has accused of bullying her throughout her career.

Swift has said that she is re-recording her albums in order to own her own masters and to give her fans the best possible versions of her music.

The release of 1989 (Taylor's Version) is highly anticipated by fans, as it is one of Swift's most popular and critically acclaimed albums. The album won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2016.

It remains to be seen what the title of the bonus track on the tangerine edition vinyl is, but fans are sure to be excited to hear it when the album is released on October 27.
